Origin of Mewtwo:
This is actually a deleted sene from Pokemon the First Movie. It was taken out because they wanted to keep the movie "G" rated. This scene is about how Mewtwo was created and how he became evil, what his purpose was. It tells how a mad scientist tried cloning Pokemon and tested his only daughter and ended up "killing" her. The girl was living in a world that she can change anytime. Also living in that world with her was other failed clone experiments which were: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle. Mewtwo, a Pokemon cloned from Mew was a thought to be failed experiment, also "fell asleep" and entered into this fantasy world with the failed cloned experiments, thus begins to story leading to Mewtwo's anger. As Mewtwo befriends the girl and the three other failed Pokemon experiments, he becomes confused to what he was and what they were. Before he can really know what he truly is, the girl and the other Pokemon fade away. Mewtwo's tears break free and sadness and anger fills his heart, giving him a purpose to destroy his creators and create a world full of clones.

Pokemon The First Movie:
This Movie is about a clone of the legendary Mew called Mewtwo and how he tries to get revenge on Team Rocket leader Giovanni for abusing him. Mewtwo is used as a fighting machine to defeat the toughest trainers. Mewtwo escapes and hides away on a remote island. He then invites trainers to compete in a competition. Mewtwo creates an army of clones out of the trainers pokemon. They have an intense fight to see the ultimate victor, Clones or Originals. Mewtwo fights with his original Mew. Ash tries to stop them from destroying each other but ends up becoming stone due to the pokemons great powers. The pokemon realize what the outcome of their war was and were in sorrow for Ash. All of the pokemon cry and the tears eventually revive Ash. Mewtwo sees his wrongdoing and flies away with Mew. Mewtwo erases everyones memory and flies into the skies.
